Wanda is a true outdoors woman. When she's not hunting, you'll find her fishing, camping, or just enjoying the outdoors. Wanda Garner grew up in the Ozark Mountains in northern Arkansas with nine siblings and learned at a early age, the importance of a solid family foundation. Raised by Christian parents, Wanda developed a great love for children and a deep appreciation for nature and the natural gifts which God has given us.
Wanda is married to Tommy Garner who is a syndicated outdoor columnist and author and was television host for the "TransWorld Sportsman" television program. They have six sons, Toby 34, Adam 31, Jason 28, Casey 19, Elijah 9, and Aydan age 3. Their daughters are Kristi 32 and Sara Kate 13. Wanda and Tommy are in the process of adopting one more little girl, McKenzie who is 16 months old. They have been foster parents for several years. Tommy and Wanda are also the proud
grandparents of six (soon to be seven!) beautiful grandchildren.
Mrs. Garner is the President of Steppin' Wolf Productions, a television production company based in northern Arkansas. She served as editor, director, and field producer for the "TransWorld Sportsman" television series. She has been featured in numerous magazines and newspaper articles, including More Magazine and Arkansas Sportsman Magazine, and in television programs and commercials.
Wanda is the co-host of Outdoors Live, the number one outdoor radio program in the Ozarks and has been a guest on a number of other Outdoor radio programs including Southern Sporting Journal, and others.

tor/Proof for the book "Hunting MisAdventures with the First Lady of Hunting© Brenda Valentine" and also serves as personal editor for her husband Tommy in his many articles for newspapers and magazines. Wanda also served as editor/publisher for the book "Hunting the Whitetail using Data and Discoveries". Wanda was Associate Editor for the outdoor magazine, Sun Outdoors, which published its first publication in September 2005!
Wanda served as the editor of the WomenHunters Organization for several years and also served as the Field Staff Coordinator. She serves on the Board of Directors for Christian Hunters of America, and has served on the Board for WomenHunters and was also VP of Public Relations. She was the host of the television series, "WomenHunters Outdoors" which aired its first 13-week series in April of 2005 on the Sportmans Channel, as well as on TV3 out of Searcy, AR.
Wanda loves to hunt and fish and encourages others to get outdoors and enjoy the gifts which God has given us. She is a member of the NWTF and served as chairperson for the NWTF for two years.
